Key Objective
Reporting to the CEO, and as a member of the senior leadership team, lead the development of the Decade Energy Management Platform. Scope includes selecting and integrating strategic partner technologies, building and managing a development team, working with the Head of Product to execute and refine the product vision.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Strategy
- Develop and execute a technical roadmap aligned with our product roadmap and business goals
- Make strategic buy vs. build decisions
- Provide continuous feedback for further product development
- Stay up to date with relevant emerging technologies
Team leadership and development
- Recruit, onboard and retain engineering talent
- Mentor and coach team members to promote professional growth
- Build a collaborative and high-performing culture
Product Development and Delivery
- Oversee the product development lifecycle
- Work in cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and methodologies
Technical architecture and infrastructure
- Design scalable and secure technical architectures and implement best practices
Risk management and compliance
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring timely delivery, compliance and security.

Leadership experience
Demonstrated ability to build, manage and lead technical teams.
Domain experience
Development experience in relevant fields (e.g. energy, charging, e-mobility).
Technical skill
Deep experience of building cloud-based systems and API integrations.
Clear, simple communicator
Takes pride in simplification and can translate complex issues into understandable and actionable frameworks.
Works in agile and hands-on manner
